Jan. 16, 2012. This is Mr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s mugshot from the Montgomery Bus Boycott in 1956. Looking at this picture really hits home, because he is only 3 yrs. older than I am today.
For all of the sacrifices he made, today we commemorate him. We must also remember that we need to continue to make strides towards equality.
